Photographing your artwork clearly is essential for submissions, websites, and professional documentation.
In this workshop, photographer and artist Maha Bazzari will share practical techniques for capturing both two-dimensional work and sculpture. The session covers lighting, setup, and editing strategies to create clean, consistent images that accurately represent your work.
Designed to be straightforward and immediately applicable, this workshop focuses on clarity over complexity—offering tools you can use within your own studio setup.

About Instructor
Maha Bazzari is a California-based multidisciplinary artist and photographer, and the founder of studio MAHA. She works with artists and organizations to document artwork, exhibitions, architecture, and interiors, with clients including MCASD, the Oceanside Museum of Art, and the La Jolla Historical Society. She is also a professor of photography at the San Diego Community College District.
This workshop is provided with the support of the Cultural Arts Department of the City of Carlsbad.
